Wel\u00adcome to join the CleantechOulu por\u00adtal. The mem\u00adber\u00adship is meant for cleantech com\u00adpa\u00adnies in the Oulu area. To get a bet\u00adter idea of the top\u00adics and the com\u00adpa\u00adny pro\u00adfiles, we rec\u00adom\u00admend brows\u00ading the site a bit before reg\u00adis\u00adter\u00ading.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The main lan\u00adguage of the por\u00adtal is Eng\u00adlish<\/strong>, so please fill in all your infor\u00adma\u00adtion in Eng\u00adlish and add links to the Eng\u00adlish ver\u00adsions of your com\u00adpa\u00adny or prod\u00aduct web\u00adsites.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Reg\u00adis\u00adtra\u00adtion form<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Reg\u00adis\u00adtra\u00adtion steps<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

  1. Fill in your com\u00adpa\u00adny infor\u00adma\u00adtion on the reg\u00adistry form. (A more detailed guide for the reg\u00adis\u00adtra\u00adtion form and suit\u00adable attach\u00adments can be found fur\u00adther on this page.)<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. Once you have filled in all the infor\u00adma\u00adtion you wish to pro\u00advide, hit the Sub\u00admit reg\u00adis\u00adtra\u00adtion<\/em> but\u00adton. This will cre\u00adate a draft of your com\u00adpa\u00adny pro\u00adfile page on the por\u00adtal.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. Once we ver\u00adi\u00adfy the sub\u00admit\u00adted infor\u00adma\u00adtion, we will acti\u00advate the user<\/strong>. This acti\u00adva\u00adtion will send a con\u00adfir\u00adma\u00adtion e\u2011mail from wordpress@oulu.com with the direc\u00adtions to login and save the com\u00adpa\u00adny infor\u00adma\u00adtion one more time (with pos\u00adsi\u00adble edits). Be aware that the acti\u00adva\u00adtion mes\u00adsage can eas\u00adi\u00adly end up in your spam fold\u00ader.<\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n
  4. Sav\u00ading the infor\u00adma\u00adtion at this point will pub\u00adlish the pro\u00adfile<\/strong> imme\u00addi\u00adate\u00adly. In the future, edit\u00ading the com\u00adpa\u00adny infor\u00adma\u00adtion will also pro\u00advide imme\u00addi\u00adate results.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

      Cre\u00adate a user account with the e\u2011mail address of the per\u00adson that will be updat\u00ading your com\u00adpa\u00adny infor\u00adma\u00adtion. The infor\u00adma\u00adtion for the con\u00adtact per\u00adson that will be vis\u00adi\u00adble to all vis\u00adi\u00adtors of CleantechOulu por\u00adtal is on the bot\u00adtom of the reg\u00adistry form.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      Intro\u00adduc\u00adtion texts:<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

      The fields for intro\u00adduc\u00adtions only accept text and line breaks. Past\u00ading some emo\u00adjis or oth\u00ader icons in these fields works, but code will not. Slo\u00adgan<\/strong> will become the sub\u00adhead\u00ading on your pro\u00adfile page locat\u00aded before the intro\u00adduc\u00adtion para\u00adgraphs (and after the illus\u00adtra\u00adtion image if pro\u00advid\u00aded). The intro\u00adduc\u00adtion fields will form two sep\u00ada\u00adrate para\u00adgraphs on the page but you can cre\u00adate more para\u00adgraphs your\u00adself with line breaks. Please, do not leave the Gen\u00ader\u00adal intro\u00adduc\u00adtion<\/strong> field emp\u00adty, as it will also pro\u00advide an excerpt to the browsing\/card view. The field for intro\u00adduc\u00ading offer\u00adings, prod\u00aducts etc. may be left blank.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      Tech\u00adno\u00adlog\u00adi\u00adcal domains:<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

      CleantechOulu por\u00adtal cat\u00ade\u00adgo\u00adrizes all com\u00adpa\u00adnies accord\u00ading to the busi\u00adness domains. Please con\u00adsid\u00ader your rel\u00ade\u00advant cat\u00ade\u00adgories care\u00adful\u00adly. For exam\u00adple, the more gen\u00ader\u00adal cat\u00ade\u00adgo\u00adry of Data & Finance relates to com\u00adpa\u00adnies that focus on offer\u00ading these ser\u00advices on a larg\u00ader scale.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      Recruit\u00adment:<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

      There\u2019s a new option\u00adal fea\u00adture to let the por\u00adtal users know you are recruit\u00ading. If you cur\u00adrent\u00adly have open posi\u00adtions, add a link to your recruit\u00adment site, and basi\u00adcal\u00adly you are done! If you wish, you can also add some addi\u00adtion\u00adal infor\u00adma\u00adtion such as what kind of posi\u00adtions are avail\u00adable or the recruit\u00adment con\u00adtact per\u00adson. If you don\u2019t have a web\u00adsite for the open posi\u00adtions, you can still give the nec\u00ades\u00adsary details on the infor\u00adma\u00adtion field. By fill\u00ading in either of these fields, you\u2019ll cre\u00adate a small \u2018Now hir\u00ading!\u2019 stamp on the com\u00adpa\u00adny card in brows\u00ading view. The filled in infor\u00adma\u00adtion will be vis\u00adi\u00adble on your pro\u00adfile after the intro\u00adduc\u00adtion fields and before the gray con\u00adtact per\u00adson detail sec\u00adtion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      Image attach\u00adments<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

      Images are not required, but we strong\u00adly rec\u00adom\u00admend adding at least the com\u00adpa\u00adny logo. The images will be mod\u00adi\u00adfied to JPG for\u00admat and resized if need\u00aded (some image for\u00admats will not auto\u00admat\u00adi\u00adcal\u00adly work on the sire). If pos\u00adsi\u00adble, opti\u00admize the images for web to reduce their file size. The max\u00adi\u00admum image upload size is 2 MB but the final file size should be much small\u00ader.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      Include your com\u00adpa\u00adny logo:<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

      More guide\u00adlines for logos fol\u00adlow below, but you can include a logo with unsup\u00adport\u00aded file type and\/or that has\u00adn\u2019t been opti\u00admized for the site and we will edit it. To avoid blur\u00adry logos, ensure the logo includ\u00aded is at least 500 pix\u00adels wide.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      The logo images on the site have a white back\u00adground and are sized 650 x 650 pix\u00adels.<\/strong> The logos have extra white space around them to orga\u00adnize them more neat\u00adly on the browsing\/card view. The actu\u00adal logo in the image is around 400\u2013580 pix\u00adels wide.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      Include your com\u00adpa\u00adny illus\u00adtra\u00adtion image:<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

      The image will be vis\u00adi\u00adble on the top of your com\u00adpa\u00adny page, right under the title. The size is 1300 x 300\u2013700 pix\u00adels<\/strong>. Larg\u00ader or small\u00ader images will most like\u00adly stretch or get part\u00adly cut. If you wish to add ver\u00adti\u00adcal or square images, they will need some white spaces on the edges to avoid stretch\u00ading.
