The Board of Direc\u00adtors of Luxmet Oy has appoint\u00aded Han\u00adnu Hau\u00adta\u00adla as CEO of the com\u00adpa\u00adny, effec\u00adtive 1 Sep\u00adtem\u00adber 2026, to lead this next phase of growth. Most recent\u00adly, Hau\u00adta\u00adla led Keliber Oy\u2019s near\u00adly EUR 800 mil\u00adlion lithi\u00adum project in Cen\u00adtral Ostro\u00adboth\u00adnia, Fin\u00adland.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Luxmet has devel\u00adoped a patent\u00aded opti\u00adcal emis\u00adsion spec\u00adtroscopy solu\u00adtion for real-time process mea\u00adsure\u00adment and opti\u00admi\u00adsa\u00adtion in the steel and met\u00adals indus\u00adtries. The tech\u00adnol\u00ado\u00adgy has been used and val\u00adi\u00addat\u00aded in cus\u00adtomers\u2019 pro\u00adduc\u00adtion envi\u00adron\u00adments. Luxmet\u2019s cus\u00adtomer and devel\u00adop\u00adment ref\u00ader\u00adences include Out\u00adokumpu, SSAB, Ovako, Cel\u00adsa, Georgs\u00admarien\u00adh\u00fctte and Fer\u00adalpi. The com\u00adpa\u00adny has cus\u00adtomers across Europe, Asia, Africa and Aus\u00adtralia. Luxmet\u2019s cur\u00adrent CEO, founder and largest share\u00adhold\u00ader, Mikko Joki\u00adnen, is prepar\u00ading for retire\u00adment. He ini\u00adti\u00adat\u00aded the suc\u00adces\u00adsion process well in advance to ensure an order\u00adly tran\u00adsi\u00adtion. From 1 Sep\u00adtem\u00adber, Joki\u00adnen will con\u00adtin\u00adue as Chief Tech\u00adnol\u00ado\u00adgy Offi\u00adcer dur\u00ading the tran\u00adsi\u00adtion peri\u00adod, ensur\u00ading con\u00adti\u00adnu\u00adity in Luxmet\u2019s tech\u00adnol\u00ado\u00adgy and know-how and sup\u00adport\u00ading an order\u00adly han\u00addover of respon\u00adsi\u00adbil\u00adi\u00adties as Hau\u00adta\u00adla assumes respon\u00adsi\u00adbil\u00adi\u00adty for the company\u2019s oper\u00ada\u00adtions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
