The Vol­un­teer Work Oppor­tu­ni­ties Fair is being held for the fifth time to bring togeth­er indi­vid­u­als inter­est­ed in vol­un­teer­ing and organ­i­sa­tions offer­ing oppor­tu­ni­ties in vol­un­teer­ing. The mix of the organ­i­sa­tions involved will reflect the theme of the event, which is nature in order to com­mem­o­rate the World Bio­di­ver­si­ty Day (held on 22^nd May). 

This event is organ­ised by Inter­na­tion­al House Oulu and the project titled “Equi­table Inclu­sion Through Vol­un­teer­ing” car­ried out by Oulu Cul­ture Foun­da­tion, the City of Oulu and Vuolle Setle­ment­ti.

The event is free of charge and will be held in both Eng­lish and Finnish. The event is called Jär­jestötr­e­f­fit in Finnish.

• To hear direct­ly from local organ­i­sa­tions about their vol­un­teer oppor­tu­ni­ties.
• To learn how to find and apply for roles that match your inter­ests.
• To meet rep­re­sen­ta­tives at their stands and ask ques­tions face-to-face.
• To enjoy free cof­fee and snacks while you net­work with like-mind­ed peo­ple.
