Core technology of cellular networks, leading position on a global level, RadioPark, University of Oulu, University of Applied Sciences, a unit of VTT Technical Research Centre of Finland<\/a> and other key stakeholders \u2013 Oulu is the world\u2019s leading region for mobile communications. Some of the most important mobile technologies including GSM, wCDMA and LTE originated here. Nokia has been instrumental in this development and has the skillset and ecosystem necessary for delivering the mobile solutions of the future, from 5G to small cells solutions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The VTT unit in Oulu focuses on connectivity, but also other segments of technology. University of Oulu, especially the 6G Flagship unit of Oulu University<\/a> is leading the way for the global industry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

RadioPark<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Oulu is the home of radio and wants to accommodate RF-related highest level product development, research and testing capability in the future as well. In that pursue, Oulu has an ongoing joint initiative RadioPark: a collaborative concept aiming to create a prominent environment for radio connectivity development in Europe. We are looking for new ecosystem partners with different backgrounds and roles to join the RadioPark team of tomorrow.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
