Oulu, Finland, 10th December 2025<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 IQM Quantum Computers, a global leader in superconducting quantum computers, has opened a new R&D office in Oulu, a tech hub in northern Finland, as part of its efforts to\u202fdevelop advanced quantum chips for error-corrected quantum computers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The move represents a strategic investment for IQM, complementing the company\u2019s production and cleanroom facilities and assembly line in Espoo and quantum data centre in Munich, Germany.<\/p>\n\n\n\n In addition, the new office reflects IQM\u2019s continuing commitment to building quantum ecosystems in major tech hubs and supporting research innovation and development activities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n During the opening ceremony, IQM team, led by the Chief Global Affairs Officer and Co-founder, Juha Vartiainen, alongside local partners and attendees, inaugurated the office with a ribbon-cutting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cOur team in this new office builds on the trust we have established in this market.
