Hamburg — number one meeting place of the international wind energy industry
WindEnergy Hamburg is the world’s largest and important business platform for the wind industry actors. Held 24.9.–27.9. in Hamburg, Germany, this event brings together key players from the global wind energy sector to exchange ideas, build networks, and close significant deals. The event features over 1 400 exhibitors from around 40 countries, showcasing innovations and solutions in total of ten exhibition halls. It also includes conferences and stages where industry leaders discuss the latest trends and developments in wind energy. It’s a great opportunity for professionals in the wind energy sector to connect and explore new opportunities.
Covering 73,500 m² across the exhibition campus, equipment manufacturers and suppliers representing all stages of the onshore and offshore wind energy value chain provide a comprehensive overview of the market. The trade fair was accompanied by conference sessions where top-ranking experts address the industry’s current key topics.
Nordic potential 35–40% of EU needs
Oulu Region is among the top locations to increase green electricity production in the EU and 40% of wind energy in Finland is produced here and the total Nordic potential is up to 35–40% of EU needs. CleantechOulu operates in Oulu region as an open ecosystem of companies by promoting cooperation between companies and connections between companies in the public sector and research and development organizations. Through our business services, organizations can participate in domestic and international export, trade fair and business events such as WindEnergy Hamburg 2024. Linking CleantechOulu companies to global value chains
The Business Opportunities for International Market project (BOIM) is an EU-supported internationalization project for SMEs. The goal of the BOIM project is to find new international business opportunities for SMEs in the region and to help companies find new international networks and increase export trade and jobs in the region. The project is implemented by BusinessOulu as part of internationalization and export services. The financier of the project is the Federation of Pohjois-Pohjanmaan liitto, which finances the project as part of the Renewing and Competent Finland 2021–2027, the EU’s regional and structural policy program, from the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF).
