Norgrid Oy provides energy consultancy in North Ostrobothnia. Company started operating in 2026. Norgrid helps client to map, size and compare possible energy solutions for companies in industry and public sector. Recommendations are built with client to fit specific needs on each site requirement, consumption, location and industry with focus on cost-efficiency and sustainable business solutions. The company’s mission is to help local businesses adopt solutions that are technically and financially sound as the energy system changes. Company values are reliability, openness and responsibility. Goal is to find low-carbon solutions without giving up operational reliability, self-sufficiency or long-term profitability. Norgrid does not recommend solutions that don’t make economic sense.

The company is led by CEO Joni Saviniemi, an energy and environmental engineer. His background covers energy facilities, process safety in the chemical industry, and techno-economic modelling. He has worked on over 20 projects in biorefining, the circular economy, environmental permits and EIAs, and industrial energy procurement.
