Tracegrow is a cleantech company pioneering circular economy solutions for critical and strategic raw materials. Headquartered in Finland, Tracegrow recycles valuable metals such as zinc and manganese from industrial side streams, including used alkaline batteries and smelting residues. These recycled materials are then processed into high-purity micronutrient solutions for use in agriculture and other industries. With patented technology and EU-based manufacturing, Tracegrow provides secure, responsible, and traceable raw materials while reducing environmental impact.

The company’s mission is to give Earth’s resources a second chance—transforming waste into value and building resilient, future-ready supply chains.

Tracegrow’s current portfolio includes CE-certified liquid micronutrient fertilisers made from recycled sources. The ZM-GROW® product family delivers zinc and manganese to crops in an efficient, easy-to-use format with a low carbon footprint. These products are already used across 45 countries through a network of distributors, OEM partners, and private-label clients.

Tracegrow is now scaling its patented RETRACER™ technology to extract battery-grade manganese for use in energy storage applications, including EV batteries. This marks a strategic expansion from agriculture into critical raw materials for the green transition.

In the short term, Tracegrow aims to:

- Expand production capacity to meet growing demand in both fertiliser and battery markets.

- Secure commercial pilots for battery-grade manganese with industrial partners.

- Strengthen its position as a reliable EU-based supplier by enhancing traceability, logistical efficiency, and compliance with sustainability standards.
