Hannover Messe 2025 was held recently from March 31 to April 4, 2025, in Hannover, Germany and BusinessOulu participated in the trade fair with four companies from Oulu: PrintoCent/VTT, Cooliblade, Sensorfu, and Semantti. Oulu-based companies were part of the Baden-Württemberg state stand, which is a long-term collaboration model. This cooperation offers significant opportunities for the nordic companies to better connect and network with German companies. The companies’ participation in the fair was made possible by the support of BOIM project and allowed companies to showcase their assets and innovations on a global stage.
PrintoCent/VTT specializes in printed intelligence and hybrid electronics, offering a world-class pilot facility for developing and commercializing new technologies.
Cooliblade develops advanced cooling solutions that enhance performance and reduce thermal stress in industrial and energy applications.
Sensorfu provides a network security platform that detects and prevents data leaks before they can be exploited, automating manual inspections and ensuring continuous network isolation.
Semantti develops operational data transformation technology that converts fragmented information into actionable insights and predictions, improving operational accuracy and speed.
Hannover Messe is one of the world’s largest industrial trade fairs. The theme of Hannover Messe 2025 was “Industrial Transformation”. The event showcased advanced technologies and solutions shaping the future of industry, including autonomous robots, generative AI, and climate-neutral production. The Oulu-based companies benefited significantly from being part of the Baden-Württemberg state stand. The Business Opportunities for International Market project (BOIM) is an EU-supported internationalization project for SMEs. The goal of the BOIM project is to find new international business opportunities for SMEs in the region and to help companies find new international networks and increase export trade and jobs in the region. The project is implemented by BusinessOulu as part of internationalization and export services. The financier of the project is the Federation of Pohjois-Pohjanmaan liitto, which finances the project as part of the Renewing and Competent Finland 2021–2027, the EU’s regional and structural policy program, from the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF).
