Expo­mark Oy to Dri­ve Growth of Nordic Hydro­gen Week

Busi­nes­sOulu and Expo­mark Oy have entered into a part­ner­ship agree­ment under which the respon­si­bil­i­ty for organ­is­ing the Nordic Hydro­gen Week will trans­fer to Expo­mark Oy, a sub­sidiary of the Finnish Fair Cor­po­ra­tion. The Nordic region’s lead­ing hydro­gen indus­try event serves as a major plat­form for the clean tran­si­tion and sup­ports Finland’s posi­tion at the fore­front of the North­ern hydro­gen econ­o­my

Nordic Hydro­gen Week is a rapid­ly expand­ing forum that brings togeth­er the lead­ing play­ers in the hydro­gen econ­o­my from across the globe, rein­forc­ing Finland’s place at the cut­ting edge of the clean tran­si­tion. The part­ner­ship between Busi­nes­sOulu and Expo­mark Oy pro­vides a sol­id foun­da­tion for the long-term growth of Nordic Hydro­gen Week and for fur­ther strength­en­ing its inter­na­tion­al pro­file.

– Nordic Hydro­gen Week has, in a short time, grown into a large and respect­ed hydro­gen indus­try event. Now is the right moment to trans­fer respon­si­bil­i­ty for organ­is­ing the event to a par­ty with the resources and exper­tise to take it to the next lev­el, states Janne Hietanie­mi, Key Account Direc­tor, Cleantech and Indus­try, Busi­nes­sOulu.

Expo­mark Oy is a sea­soned organ­is­er of indus­tri­al and health­care events, oper­at­ing flex­i­bly across Fin­land. Its port­fo­lio includes, among oth­ers, Ener­gy­Week, Ener­giames­sut (The Ener­gy Event of Fin­land), as well as the indus­tri­al events Bot­nia Indus­tri­al Day and Pohjoinen Teol­lisu­us (The North­ern Indus­try Event). Expo­mark Oy is a sub­sidiary of the Finnish Fair Cor­po­ra­tion.

The next Nordic Hydro­gen Week will be held in Oulu, Fin­land, on 10–12 Feb­ru­ary 2026. The three-day event will fea­ture the North­ern Pow­er busi­ness forum at the Oulu Music Cen­tre, the Uni­ver­si­ty of Oulu’s Hydro­gen Research Day, and an exten­sive field pro­gramme with site vis­its and recep­tions.
