The long-term development and sales efforts of Randax Oy, a manufacturer of large permanent magnet motors, has paid off. The company has embarked on a strong growth trajectory, particularly due to the electrification of the maritime industry. The greening of the sector and the shift towards low-emission solutions have increased the demand for Randax’s energy-efficient motors.
The number of Randax’s customers has multiplied in recent years, and the company’s motors have been delivered to countries such as Norway, the Netherlands, and China. One of the most significant reference customers is the Norwegian HPS (Haf Power Solutions), which utilizes Randax’s motors in its electric propulsion systems. The collaboration with HPS is a proof to the competitiveness and reliability of Randax’s technology in demanding marine conditions.
The company’s order book is currently very strong and covers the next two years. According to Sales & Engineering Manager Kimmo Huurinainen, the growth is driven not only by technological leadership but also by the ability to respond quickly and flexibly to the individual needs of customers. “The greening of the maritime industry is no longer the future, but the present. We are proud to be part of building a cleaner and more sustainable future for maritime transport,” says Huurinainen.
