Our pop­u­lar Board Games & Net­work­ing is here in Sep­tem­ber!

This time, we’re excit­ed to wel­come two spe­cial guests to this free event who will share the inspir­ing work they’re doing: OSKE and Oulu2026.

• Oulu Skills Cen­tre (OSKE) is a ser­vice designed for high­ly edu­cat­ed immi­grants with a res­i­dence per­mit. OSKE col­lab­o­rates with edu­ca­tion­al insti­tu­tions, employ­ers, employ­ment ser­vices, munic­i­pal employ­ment pilots, and oth­er key stake­hold­ers to sup­port inte­gra­tion and career devel­op­ment. • Oulu2026 and our jour­ney as the Euro­pean Cap­i­tal of Cul­ture is fast approach­ing! Vol­un­teer Zone2026 is a pro­gram that links immi­grants in the Oulu and Kain­uu regions with an excit­ing vari­ety of vol­un­teer­ing oppor­tu­ni­ties and offers them use­ful train­ing options. This can come in the form of Oulu 2026 events, activ­i­ties with­in local orga­ni­za­tions, and action that immi­grants plan and imple­ment from start to fin­ish. What themes moti­vate you to make new friends and devel­op your net­works, learn new skills and make a pos­i­tive impact? Vol­un­teer Zone uses this dynam­ic approach to fos­ter inclu­sion and skills devel­op­ment, while also strength­en­ing com­mu­ni­ty ties through mean­ing­ful inter­ac­tion.
