Invi­ta­tion to a pub­lic hear­ing and dis­cus­sion on the ser­vice net­work review for non Finnish speak­ers

The City of Oulu’s Edu­ca­tion and Cul­ture Ser­vices, togeth­er with the Oulu for All project, are organ­is­ing a pub­lic hear­ing and dis­cus­sion relat­ed to the ser­vice net­work review. This event is aimed towards non Finnish speak­ing res­i­dents of Oulu. The event con­cerns all major dis­tricts of the City of Oulu.

The event intend­ed will be held on Wednes­day, 4 Feb­ru­ary, from 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm at the Tuira Com­mu­ni­ty Cen­tre (Sydä­naula / main lob­by), Mat­ti Hällin kuja 3.

The ser­vice net­work review is being pre­pared as the num­ber of chil­dren born in Oulu is decreas­ing and the city’s finan­cial con­di­tions are dete­ri­o­rat­ing. It is nec­es­sary for Oulu to review its ser­vices and ser­vice net­works.

The event pro­vides an oppor­tu­ni­ty to par­tic­i­pate and influ­ence, in accor­dance with Sec­tion 22 of the Local Gov­ern­ment Act and Sec­tion 41 of the Admin­is­tra­tive Pro­ce­dure Act.

There will be inter­pre­ta­tion in Eng­lish, Soma­li, Ara­bic and Russ­ian (depend­ing on avail­abil­i­ty).
