Oulu for All: Anti-discrimination Forum
In early 2025, the City of Oulu launched its Anti-Racism Action Plan, with the aim to build a more equitable and inclusive community in Oulu. The plan is being implemented through the Oulu for All project, which actively promotes diversity and encourages interaction among different population groups.
This event continues the work of the anti-discrimination forum held in the spring. The event is organized in cooperation with Startup Refugees’ Diverse Oulu project, which supports equality in working life and offers solutions for the employment of international professionals and the development of diversity in
companies.
Theme of the event:
Supporting employers and workplaces in employing people from diverse backgrounds and helping them succeed in their professional roles. In addition to employers and employees, the Mayor of Oulu, other senior officials of the City of Oulu and members of the anti-discrimination forum will be present.

The evening will feature talks, a workshop, lively discussions and light refreshments.
The event follows the City of Oulu’s Safer and Bolder Space principles.
