Founded as a spin off from the University of Oulu, Visidon has grown into an international team developing advanced image and video enhancement algorithms for devices ranging from mobile phones to drones.

At Visidon, people are valued for their skills, curiosity, and contribution to the community – not for where they come from.

– Multiculturalism freshens up our work community and gives us a great advantage in our daily work, says Sami Töyrylä, Head of People and Culture.

”Multiculturalism freshens up our work community.”

Colleagues often describe Visidon as friendly, open, and supportive – a workplace where anyone can ask, learn, and collaborate regardless of background or role.

Finnish work–life balance is also at the core of Visidon’s culture, says Mohammad Tavakolian, Senior Machine Learning Engineer.

When the workday ends, employees can truly disconnect, recharge, and enjoy generous holidays that strengthen wellbeing.

– Whenever I finish my work during the day, I just close my email, my chats and I can focus on my personal activity and my daily life routine, Mohammad Tavakolian mentions.

Visidon is proud of the community they’ve built – and the people who make it thrive. Visidon was recognized as Oulu’s Most International Employer of 2025.
