World’s Biggest Com­pa­ny Vis­it 2026 — Cre­ative indus­try & Cul­ture

Inter­est­ed in cre­ative indus­tries and cul­ture? Wel­come to join com­pa­ny vis­its vir­tu­al­ly on the 5th May at 2.15 – 3.00 pm.

The City of Oulu is orga­niz­ing the World’s Biggest Vir­tu­al Com­pa­ny Vis­it for cre­ative indus­tries on May 5, 2026. The ses­sion in Eng­lish will take place from 2:15 pm to 3:00 pm.

• What: The World’s Biggest Vir­tu­al Com­pa­ny Vis­it, Cre­ative Indus­tries & cul­ture
• When: Tues­day, May 5, 2026, 2:15 – 3:00 pm (14:15–15:00)
• Where: City of Oulu’s YouTube chan­nel
• How: The event is free. All you need is a smart device (lap­top, com­put­er or phone). You do not need a cam­era or micro­phone. The vir­tu­al event link will be sent to you at the lat­est 4th May, you will receive it via reg­is­tra­tion.

This year’s theme is cre­ative indus­tries and cul­ture. Par­tic­i­pat­ing com­pa­nies include:

• Fin­ger­soft, game devel­op­ment
• LUO Arkkite­hdit, archi­tec­ture
• Kale­va Media, media and jour­nal­ism
• Kuu­lu, com­mu­ni­ca­tions and mar­ket­ing
• Wadessa, event pro­duc­tion
• What­ev­er Pic­tures, TV and film pro­duc­tion

Dur­ing the event, you will see what kind of work these com­pa­nies do and what dif­fer­ent roles look like in prac­tice. You will hear about the edu­ca­tion­al and pro­fes­sion­al paths that have led peo­ple to their cur­rent posi­tions.

If you are an inter­na­tion­al stu­dent or new to Fin­land, this ses­sion also helps you under­stand how Finnish work­ing func­tions and what career paths you can look like in this region.

If you are think­ing about stud­ies, an intern­ship, the­sis col­lab­o­ra­tion or your first job in Fin­land, this event helps you see how stud­ies can con­nect to work­ing life. This is not a recruit­ment event or the­o­ry. It is a prac­ti­cal look at real com­pa­nies, real tasks and real career paths.
