Business Finland webinar on French Industry 4.0 and trade mission to Barcelona
Business Finland will be hosting a free webinar – “Business opportunities in the French Industry 4.0 market” – on Thursday 17th August. France is currently in the process of investing significantly in the digitalisation of industry. As a result, they want to place a strong emphasis on implementing tools such as IoT, smart automation, 5G, artificial intelligence and XR into the sector. Additionally, if your company can offer export solutions for creating low-carbon built environtments and is interested in establishing Spain as a strategic market or partnership opportunity, there is a trade mission being organised by Business Finland for the autumn. During this trip, which will last two days, the preliminary agenda will include tailored B2B meetings, a networking event, and a visit to the premises of local stakeholders. NATO’s DIANA program
NATO’s Defence Innovation Accelerator for the North Atlantic (DIANA) is now open for ICTOulu portal companies. This program strives to unite the most skilled and inventive individuals from across the Alliance, guaranteeing the safety of its members. You can find out more information on the qualifying criteria and what NATO will offer by reading our news story that was published a few weeks back. The deadline for applications is Friday 25th August.
Traficom National Coordination Centre funding
Traficom (Finnish Transport and Communications Agency) is funding grants for small and medium-sized enterprises for the uptake and dissemination of state-of-the-art cyber security solutions and innovations through its National Coordination Centre. More information (in Finnish) can be found on Traficom’s website. The deadline for applications is Wednesday 16th August at 4.15pm.
XR4Europe’s IMPULSE accelerator
XR4Europe, a pan-European association created by members of the XR4ALL consortium, is organising IMPULSE. This is an XR accelerator that focuses on two verticals: content creation and entrepreneurship. If you think your business is working on projects that would benefit from involvement in this initiative, you can find out more information and apply via the XR4Europe website. The deadline for applications is Monday 28th August.
