Automotive

Established in 2019, Oulu Automotive Cluster is an open ecosystem where companies and research institutes co-develop solutions for electric cars, autonomous driving and new business models for mobility.

The cluster consists of over 120 members, research partners and testing facilities, bringing them together and boosting the unique strengths of Oulu at the automotive industry.

Our Solutions

Our target is to make the Oulu region a significant, well-recognized player in the European automotive industry. In order to achieve this goal, we provide our cluster members several services. We help members find customers and cooperation partners through 1-on-1 introductions, pitching sessions, matchmaking events, delegation trips, and trade shows.

The cluster also promotes cooperation and information sharing between members and researchers to bring new innovations to market and to combine resources in solving common problems. Alongside these activities, the cluster shares relevant industry knowledge to members to facilitate strategic planning and business development in a rapidly changing industry.

We are collaborating with national and international business development organisations, automotive clusters, and innovation ecosystems to boost these activities.
