Machine vision, computer vision, integrated with ML and AI capabilities has boomed everywhere during the last two years. This has happened in Oulu as well, and we consider Oulu to be the most significant location in Finland for these next generation’s embedded AI Vision solutions. Oulu has an energetic group of companies and very active research collaboration with local universities. In fact, the university of Oulu has a dedicated unit for this topic – Center for Machine Vision and Signal Analysis (CMVS).
Local companies have significant resources in these technologies and some of them employ hundreds of employees already. Large resources will ensure the capability to accept even larger projects and to scale the development work efficiently. Some of our key strengths include video data analysis and objective recognition, challenging edge AI integration projects and simultaneous multiple data source analysis capability with high number of objects.
