Tai­ja Sailio, CEO & Co-founder, Fab­Patch Ltd

Tai­ja Sailio is a tex­tile design­er by train­ing, entre­pre­neur by heart, and one of the co-founders and the CEO of Fab­Patch Ltd. Before join­ing the repair rev­o­lu­tion, she ran her own upcy­cling and ser­vice design busi­ness and worked in sev­er­al cre­ative sec­tor projects com­bin­ing art and design with well­be­ing and com­mu­ni­ty devel­op­ment.

She co-found­ed Fab­Patch togeth­er with two oth­er women—also mothers—with a shared vision of mak­ing tex­tile repair acces­si­ble, cre­ative, and part of every­day life.

Orig­i­nal­ly from Oulu, Tai­ja sees the city as a pow­er­ful blend of tech­nol­o­gy and cre­ativ­i­ty, infused with arc­tic char­ac­ter and humor—a fer­tile ground for bold ideas and glob­al­ly mind­ed star­tups. She brings to the pan­el hands-on expe­ri­ence of build­ing a women-led com­pa­ny from Oulu to inter­na­tion­al markets—rooted in cre­ativ­i­ty, col­lab­o­ra­tion, and north­ern resilience.
