Mega­Match­mak­ing – the most promis­ing career event of the autumn

Mega­Match­mak­ing brings hope to the autumn by bring­ing togeth­er job seek­ers, recruit­ing employ­ers, and oth­er key play­ers in the work­ing life.

Whether you are a stu­dent, job seek­er or think­ing about new dreams and career options, Mega­Match­mak­ing offers some­thing for every­one.

As a vis­i­tor, you’ll get

  • the oppor­tu­ni­ty to meet dozens of recruiters and work­ing life actors.
  • inspi­ra­tion and tips for job hunt­ing. The event will be host­ed by Pekka Hyysa­lo, a source of hope.
  • A pro­fes­sion­al CV pho­to or CV coach­ing.
  • The oppor­tu­ni­ty to build your net­work and find a new direc­tion in life!

Free Shut­tle on Event Day

On the day of the event, there will be a free bus ser­vice between Oulu Mar­ket Square and Tullisali. The bus leaves the Mar­ket Square (Kaar­len­väylä) at 8:45 a.m. and the last bus leaves Tullisali at 3:15 p.m.

Career Café

  • Stop by for a cup of cof­fee or tea and chat with pro­fes­sion­als.
  • You can dis­cuss top­ics such as job hunt­ing, work­ing abroad, or entre­pre­neur­ship.
  • Free guid­ance is also avail­able from a career coun­sel­lor, among oth­ers.

CV Clin­ic

  • The Career Café also has a CV clin­ic where you can get expert help with final­is­ing your resume.
  • Bring your resume with you on paper or on your phone, and we will help you pol­ish your job appli­ca­tion doc­u­ments!

CV Pho­tog­ra­phy

  • Come to the pho­to booth and get a pro­fes­sion­al pho­to of your­self for your job appli­ca­tion. The pho­to will be sent to you elec­tron­i­cal­ly about a week after the pho­to shoot.

Are you look­ing for new tal­ent, part-time employ­ees or interns? Mega­Match­mak­ing allows you to reach a wide and moti­vat­ed audi­ence in a sin­gle day. At your pre­sen­ta­tion stand, you can talk to peo­ple who are inter­est­ed in your com­pa­ny and arrange meet­ings with poten­tial appli­cants.

As an exhibitor, you will get:

  • Your own pre­sen­ta­tion stand in the event area
  • Vis­i­bil­i­ty for your job vacan­cies and organ­i­sa­tion among pro­fes­sion­als in the field
  • The oppor­tu­ni­ty to meet moti­vat­ed job seek­ers, includ­ing inter­na­tion­al pro­fes­sion­als.
  • The oppor­tu­ni­ty to have a sep­a­rate recruit­ment video made by pro­fes­sion­als, which you can use in your recruit­ment after the event.

At Busi­nes­sOulu’s video record­ing sta­tion, your com­pa­ny can talk about your job vacan­cies and your­self as an employ­er. Each par­tic­i­pat­ing com­pa­ny will receive its own recruit­ment video dur­ing Octo­ber to sup­port their recruit­ment efforts. Par­tic­i­pa­tion is free of charge. You can book a time slot when you reg­is­ter.
