City of Oulu will hold a side event at the BIRTH LAB, Tokyo, Japan

“Oulu-Fin­land Busi­ness Meet­up in Tokyo”.

This event is a great oppor­tu­ni­ty to gain deep­er insight into Oulu and to con­nect between Oulu, Fin­land and Japan, Kan­to. Our part­ners in the Oulu busi­ness del­e­ga­tion will show­case their exper­tise and inno­va­tion in ICT, Health­care, and start­up activ­i­ties. Par­tic­i­pat­ing com­pa­nies will present cut­ting-edge tech­nolo­gies that high­light Oulu’s unique strengths.

We warm­ly wel­come you to explore new pos­si­bil­i­ties of col­lab­o­ra­tion and nur­ture trust­ing con­nec­tions between Japan and Fin­land.

Oulu region is locat­ed in North­ern Fin­land just below the Arc­tic Cir­cle. Oulu is the fifth largest city in Fin­land, one of the coun­try’s fastest grow­ing cities, and the cen­tre of inno­va­tion, busi­ness, cul­ture, and edu­ca­tion in the North. It is also one of the major tech­no­log­i­cal hubs and R&D liv­ing labs in Europe, espe­cial­ly when it comes to world-class wire­less excel­lence. Oulu is often called the Sil­i­con Val­ley of North­ern Europe.
