PURKU — demolition as part of urban development — eco-efficient utilization of demolition materials in infrastructure and real estate construction

The PURKU project develops a new type of value chain for construction, where demolition is part of the beginning of the value chain and life cycle models. The pilot sites are researching and testing new methods as part of the operating methods of demolition sites, where the aggregate is crushed for reuse on or near the site and the materials are not transported elsewhere for processing.
The project is co-funded by the European Union.
