What is the Oulu Inno­va­tion Alliance?

Oulu Inno­va­tion Alliance is a strate­gic con­sor­tium of sig­nif­i­cant research, devel­op­ment and inno­va­tion oper­a­tors in the Oulu region. Its goal is to strength­en the inno­va­tion capa­bil­i­ty in the region along with the glob­al com­pet­i­tive­ness of North­ern Fin­land.

Dur­ing the ongo­ing strate­gic peri­od 2021–2027, our vision is to make the Oulu region the best Euro­pean ecosys­tem to cre­ate glob­al added val­ue with dig­i­tal­i­sa­tion, solv­ing eco­log­i­cal, eco­nom­ic, and social sus­tain­abil­i­ty chal­lenges through north­ern inno­va­tions.

Our promise to com­pa­nies and var­i­ous stake­hold­ers is to be the best part­ner for pro­mot­ing inno­va­tions. OIA pro­vides busi­ness rep­re­sen­ta­tives with an excel­lent inter­face to research, devel­op­ment, advance­ment of exper­tise, tri­al envi­ron­ments, nation­al and inter­na­tion­al part­ner­ship net­works, and poten­tial fund­ing chan­nels.
