Tal­ent­Trek­Fin­land – Inter­na­tion­al tal­ent into work­ing life

The objec­tive of the Tal­ent­Trek­Fin­land project is to pro­mote the inte­gra­tion of inter­na­tion­al pro­fes­sion­als and stu­dents into the Finnish labor mar­ket. The project sup­ports labor avail­abil­i­ty and helps address labor mar­ket mis­match chal­lenges. In the long term, the project strength­ens the com­pet­i­tive­ness and growth of Finland’s busi­ness sec­tor.

The main tar­get groups of the project include inter­na­tion­al stu­dents in Fin­land, inter­na­tion­al pro­fes­sion­als with a degree who are not cur­rent­ly employed, employed inter­na­tion­al pro­fes­sion­als, as well as com­pa­nies and oth­er employ­ers. In addi­tion, the project involves close coop­er­a­tion with var­i­ous stake­hold­ers.

As a result of the project, new solu­tions, oper­at­ing mod­els, and exper­tise will be devel­oped to sup­port the employ­ment of inter­na­tion­al stu­dents and pro­fes­sion­als, and to enhance the recep­tive­ness and reten­tion capac­i­ty of work­ing life. Coop­er­a­tion between employ­ers, edu­ca­tion providers, and oth­er stake­hold­ers will also be strength­ened.
