Meet Nada Abass! A Sto­ry All About Explor­ing Dif­fer­ent Cul­tures, Study­ing, and Con­nec­tions

Nada Abass is orig­i­nal­ly from Egypt and cur­rent­ly liv­ing in Fin­land. She is pur­su­ing her mas­ter’s degree in Dig­i­tal Mar­ket­ing and Cor­po­rate Com­mu­ni­ca­tions at Uni­ver­si­ty of Jyväskylä.

Nada’s jour­ney took a fas­ci­nat­ing turn when she had the oppor­tu­ni­ty to become a Com­mu­ni­ca­tion Trainee at Business­Oulu and Inter­na­tion­al House Oulu.

In her role, Nada met peo­ple from all around the world. She got to learn about their ideas, cul­tures, and inno­va­tion. Every day brought some­thing new to learn and explore.

What tru­ly stood out for Nada was the gen­uine warmth and col­lab­o­ra­tion she encoun­tered. Her col­leagues and team gave her warm wel­comes, allow­ing an envi­ron­ment where ideas were heard, and cre­ativ­i­ty flour­ished.

Nada’s role was more than just a trainee­ship; it was a trans­for­ma­tive expe­ri­ence that left a pos­i­tive impact:

“I loved every moment of it. I got the chance to learn and meet new peo­ple. I also gained new friends. I tru­ly enjoyed every day at Business­Oulu and Inter­na­tion­al House Oulu, big thanks to my col­leagues as well for mak­ing it an enjoy­able work­ing envi­ron­ment. Work­ing with them was like a bridge that con­nect­ed dif­fer­ent cul­tures and ideas.”

Out­side of work and stud­ies, Nada enjoys trav­el­ing, sun­sets and meet­ing new peo­ple. As Nada con­tin­ues her aca­d­e­m­ic jour­ney and looks ahead to her future, she car­ries with her the mem­o­ries and expe­ri­ences at Business­Oulu and Inter­na­tion­al House Oulu. It helped her grow and learn about work­ing life and gain­ing new con­nec­tions.

With every step she takes, Nada shows how impor­tant it is to learn from oth­ers and explore the world with an open heart.
