Oulu GH2 – Accelerating the Green Hydrogen Economy in Oulu and Northern Finland

The project aims to create an operational model for a centralized hydrogen economy innovation ecosystem in the Oulu and Northern Ostrobothnia region. The objective is to connect companies, research, development, and innovation actors, as well as the public sector, in a collaboration that promotes, develops, and enables the launch of future hydrogen business activities in the region.
The project effectively integrates a business-driven business ecosystem with a research-driven knowledge ecosystem while establishing links with national and international stakeholders.
The operations of Oulu GH2 and the hydrogen economy innovation ecosystem will continue actively through business cluster collaboration, around which scientific and commercial follow-up projects, such as those related to technological solutions, will be built.
The project is co-funded by the European Union.
