Uula – New Skills for Green Transition Sectors

The goal of the Uula project is to introduce new tools and services to promote employment growth and provide opportunities for acquiring new skills in green transition sectors, particularly in response to the transformation of the peat industry in Northern Ostrobothnia.

The project aims to enhance employment and business opportunities for the target group through individualized career guidance and models that support social inclusion. It includes mapping out the training and skill requirements of green transition sectors. Based on these assessments, various training programs for the green transition will be developed and piloted, eventually forming comprehensive training packages implemented during the project.

The project is co-funded by the European Union.
