Prin­toCent

Foun­ded in 2008 by VTT, The Uni­ver­si­ty of Oulu, Oulu Uni­ver­si­ty of Applied Sciences, and Oulu Inno­va­tion Oy, Prin­toCent is an inno­va­tion cent­re for prin­ted elect­ro­nics and optical mea­su­ring sys­tems. At its core, the­re is a clus­ter of some 40 com­pa­nies, pilo­ting and manu­fac­tu­ring envi­ron­ment as well as joint deve­lop­ment pro­jects. Prin­toCent is coor­di­na­ted by VTT. The start-up com­pa­nies in the clus­ter have recei­ved more than € 40 mil­lion in fun­ding and their busi­ness is rapid­ly expan­ding in an inter­na­tio­nal network.
