Oulu Zone

Oulu­Zone+ is an inter­na­tion­al­ly rec­og­nized arc­tic research, edu­ca­tion and devel­op­ment cen­tre for infra­struc­ture indus­try, heavy-duty vehi­cles, autonomous cars and robot­ics. Its appeal is based on 5G com­mu­ni­ca­tions net­work built in the area, unique tech­no­log­i­cal know-how and coop­er­a­tion with com­pa­nies, research and stan­dard­iza­tion insti­tu­tions and var­i­ous edu­ca­tion­al insti­tu­tions. The Oulu­zone+ area is the first Green­Cross motor sports cen­tre in Europe, and it hosts inter­na­tion­al motor sports events, exhi­bi­tions and recre­ation­al events.
