Real-time 5G Test Envi­ron­ment

5G Test Net­work (5G TN) con­sists of two net­work con­fig­u­ra­tions.

In a restrict­ed net­work envi­ron­ment man­aged by VTT, com­pa­nies can test the func­tion­al­i­ty of their tech­nol­o­gy, prod­ucts and appli­ca­tions in a con­trolled man­ner.

In a pub­lic net­work man­aged by the Uni­ver­si­ty of Oulu it is pos­si­ble to com­mer­cial­ize prod­ucts and apps in a real-world oper­a­tional envi­ron­ment.

The test net­work will also be expand­ed to cov­er var­i­ous plat­forms in Oulu city. 5G TN is part of the nation­wide 5G TNF devel­op­ment envi­ron­ment.
