Cir­cu­lar econ­o­my area in Väli­maa

New area for play­ers in cir­cu­lar econ­o­my

Oulu is devel­op­ing, in co-oper­a­tion with busi­ness­es, a new cir­cu­lar econ­o­my area in Väli­maa, Kiimin­ki. The man­age­ment plan for the area has space reser­va­tions for mul­ti­ple play­ers in the cir­cu­lar econ­o­my. The devel­op­ment of the region is based on mate­r­i­al effi­cien­cy as well as new inno­v­a­tive solu­tions and prod­ucts for cir­cu­lar econ­o­my.

The cir­cu­lar econ­o­my area in Väli­maa is also devel­oped as part of the Cir­cVol 6Aika project with the aim of pro­mot­ing busi­ness based on cir­cu­lar econ­o­my and using high-vol­ume by-flows in cities.
