Repor­ting of Envi­ron­men­tal Pro­gram­me

Oulun Digi gave Oulu Regio­nal Envi­ron­men­tal Office a pre­sen­ta­tion on the usa­bi­li­ty of Power­BI pro­gram­me for repor­ting. The pos­si­bi­li­ties of novel repor­ting approach spar­ked an idea of a public report aimed for local resi­dents.

Urban and Envi­ron­men­tal Ser­vices orde­red a Power­BI Report about the moni­to­ring of the imple­men­ta­tion of the City of Oulu envi­ron­men­tal pro­gram­me. The report was drawn up in clo­se coo­pe­ra­tion between Oulu Regio­nal Envi­ron­men­tal Office and Oulu Digi experts. The comple­ted report was publis­hed onli­ne in sum­mer 2020 on the City of Oulu public Inter­net web­si­te.  The Envi­ron­men­tal Report is free­ly acces­sible at https://www.ouka.fi/ymparisto-ja-luonto/ymparistoohjelmanseuranta

The report disclo­ses the focus areas of urban stra­te­gy and their gui­de­li­nes, which work as the basis for the City of Oulu Envi­ron­men­tal Pro­gram­me. The report, in this form, is the very first of its kind of the moni­to­ring of an envi­ron­men­tal pro­gram­me. In futu­re, the report will be upda­ted eve­ry year.
